This position is Full-Time position (64 hrs per two week pay period); This position will be working day/evening shifts from 4:
00am - 4:
00pm and 4:
00pm - 8:
00pm; Every other weekend; & Rotating Holidays.
The cook/baker prepares food and bakery products for hospital patients, guests, employees, Home Delivered Meals, and catered functions according to standardized recipes and established policies and procedures. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
EDUCATION
High school graduate or equivalent required. Post high school specialized training in volume and/or institutional cooking preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum one year of quantity cooking/baking experience preferred. Knowledge of sanitation/HACCP required
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
ServSafe certified or Food Safety Training accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP), or Food Manager Certification by the state of MN required within 18 months; must be renewed at minimum every 5 years or Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP)
Vocational, technical or cooking school certificates preferred.
A valid Minnesota driver's license and a driving record in good standing may be required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
