## Job Description
Provides patient- and family-centered care through The Compass: St. Cloud Hospitals Nursing Professional Practice Model to achieve the hospital mission of improving the health and quality of life that reflects the healing mission of Jesus. Age appropriate care is provided to patients and families. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards for a superior patient experience. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
EDUCATIONGraduate from a nursing program required. Baccalaureate or Masters in Nursing preferred. A minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing must be obtained within five years for those hired into an RN position on or after May 1, 2014.
EXPERIENCEOne year of recent cardiology work (i.e., critical care nursing, heart catheterization, emergency room) required. Two years experience working in a cardiovascular disease program. Good written and verbal communication skills. Sufficient knowledge to recognize abnormal laboratory data and other diagnostic testing results necessitating reporting to physicians. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSCurrent licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required.Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. A valid Minnesota drivers license and a vehicle available for work, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required. If you are new RN graduate (defined as someone with less than one year of RN experience) please apply to the 2013/2014 Registered Nurse New Graduate position. Your 2013/2014 Registered Nurse New Graduate application will be considered for all units/departments; there is no need to apply to any additional RN positions.
Salary: Minimum ADN $29.29 BSN $30.37 MSN $31.36
Employment Type: Part-time
Schedule: 32 hrs/pp; every 5th weekend

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
