Week 2- Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat
Utilizes the nursing process in providing and indirect care of residents/patients to achieve St. Benedict''s Senior Community''s mission of Christian care. May assume responsibility for the Nursing Department in the absence of the Director of Nursing and/or serve as the person in charge of St. Benedict''s Senior Community. Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing and have a current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota. Experience which is appropriate to long term care is preferred. Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English and have good verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of nursing standards, policies, procedures and ethics is required. Must have knowledge and skills to implement nursing theory and adapt resources to meet the needs of the situation.Effective assessment, reporting, documentation and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to lead and supervise resident/patient care team. Must demonstrate resourcefulness and critical judgement in emergency situations. Professional and courteous customer service skills are required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
