Responsible for executing operations and coordinating the delivery and provision to support patient- and family-centered care through The Compass: St. Cloud Hospital's Nursing Professional Practice Model to achieve the hospital mission of improving the health and quality of life that reflects the healing mission of Jesus.
Responsible for planning, organizing and staffing the Center for Surgical Care (CSC), Preadmission Surgical Screening (PASS) Program, ambulatory post anesthesia recovery (South PACU) Preoperative inpatient holding (POH) and inpatient post anesthesia recovery (North PACU.) Responsible for the retention and development of qualified staff while enhancing communication and feedback throughout the department.
EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Master's preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three years of progressive work experience including management/supervisory responsibilities in Perioperative Care. Must possess demonstrated management skills including leadership, communication, team building, organization, and goal setting. Must demonstrate problem solving, continuous quality improvement, and analytical skills. Basic
computer
skills preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of
minnesota
required.
Professional Membership. Professional Certification preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
