Cloud Park & Recreation is looking for positive people from all backgrounds to serve as a host to community groups and organizations at our City park shelters.
Flexible Schedule Connect with your community Pay $15-17 per hour Pay rate based on qualifications and experience Part-Time, Seasonal, Not Benefit Eligible Hours of Work Hours include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Position runs May 1st through September 30th for peak season and occasional hours throughout the rest of the year.
Work anywhere from 10-39 hours weekly! Hours may be limited by program needs.
Typical Duties Performed Greet renters and the public, establishing positive public relations and knowledge of the facility and department to answer any questions.
Maintain clean facilities and parks for the public, including inside and outside of the park shelters and the restrooms.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Open and close the facility safely and securely.
Assure parks and park shelters are kept neat and orderly by picking up garbage and replacing garbage bags in the receptacles.
Inspect the facility before and after your shift and report unsafe conditions or equipment.
Distribute requested athletic equipment to users and ensure its return and proper storage.
Educate on and enforce all park and recreation facility rules, regulations, and policies, maintaining a consistent discipline policy for all renters and public participants.
Complete any necessary records and reports on attendance, accidents, and/or incidents.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications What is needed to apply for this job? Job seekers should be age 18 or older Valid Minnesota Class D driver's license, or equivalent out-of-state license, with no moving violation suspensions or revocations (including DUI) within the one-year period prior to the date of appointment (suspensions for parking-related offenses excluded) Hold current CPR-AED/First Aid Certifications or will to be certified Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and turn and use fine motor skills and manual dexterity Ability to work outdoors for prolonged periods Ability to be flexible, punctual, and highly responsible You May Be a Great Fit if You Have:
