Looking for people to join our fast paced, high-tech team to help develop and manufacture cutting-edge products utilizing the latest in manufacturing technology.
New Modern Equipment / Clean Facility / Robotics and Automation Primary Job Function Analyze specifications, develop programs to control machining or processing of metal or plastic parts by automatic machine tools, set up and operate machine tools.
Essential Job Functions Determine the sequence of machine operations, and select the proper cutting tools needed to machine workpieces into the desired shapes.
Revise programs to eliminate errors, and retest programs to check that problems have been solved.
Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
Modify existing programs to enhance efficiency.
Write instruction sheets and cutter lists for a machine's controller to guide setup.
Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators.
Job Skills CNC Programming Education and Experience 2-year degree in CNC machining or related Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
