6K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Front Office Dental Associate Centrasota Oral Surgeons has an immediate full-time opening (Monday-Friday) for a Front Office Associate in our St.
Cloud office! This position is a float position that works with the Front Desk, Call Center, Discharge and Referral areas.
We are looking for a team member with excellent skills in communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Some travel to our Monticello and Hutchinson satellite offices required.
Experience with insurance helpful.
Responsibilities:
Front Desk:
Verify that all records from referring offices are received prior to patient's appointment.
Verify patient's benefits and eligibility on multiple insurance websites.
Admit patients for scheduled appointments.
Review financial agreements and HIPAA policy with patients and obtain signatures on documents as necessary.
Obtain insurance information from patients.
Take patient payments when indicated.
Call Center:
Schedule patients accurately and efficiently for all office appointments Maintain accurate daily appointment schedules.
Inform patients regarding preoperative instructions, general insurance/referral information, arrival times, dates, locations, etc.
Ensure that patients are scheduled at correct locations based on patient insurance requirements Mail information packets to patients for appointments as needed.
Register new patients including all required demographic information.
Discharge:
Post patient charges and payments and verify for accuracy.
Set up medical and/or dental insurance claims.
Review walk-out statements with patients and collect payments.
Accurately balance accounts receivable/daily transactions (cash, check and credit card).
Email/mail referral correspondence daily.
Referral:
Receive all patient information from referring offices.
Set up patient accounts and import documents.
Provide patient information to doctors for estimates.
Distribute incoming pathology reports.
Receive all incoming faxes and distribute as necessary.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/ABILITIES TO EFFECTIVELY PERFORM
Responsibilities:
Effectively incorporate the use of technology into day-to-day tasks (Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite).
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and practice information.
Communicate effectively and positively with patients, co-workers, management, and providers.
Ability to work as a team member Ability to organize work for efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High school diploma/GED required.
1 - 2 years customer service experience Experience with insurances helpful Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Job Type:
