We are looking for a driven, self-sufficient, full-time, door-to-door Solar Sales Team Lead to join our growing community solar advertising company, Home Solutions.
As a door-to-door Solar Sales Team Lead, you will achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing a small team of Solar Sales Representatives in addition to traveling to designated residential and commercial utility territories (primarily throughout your county) to educate home and business owners on the benefits of community solar energy and enroll them in our FREE program.
With community solar farms expanding throughout our nation, by simply signing up, customers now have the ability to utilize solar energy without needing to purchase or install expensive solar equipment, resulting in a lower monthly utility bill and a cleaner environment, making this an ideal product for a motivated sales professional.
Help us in our mission to expand renewable energy throughout your community! This position is 100% paid commission with the exception of paid training.
First-year Team Lead earnings can range from $60-120k.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The Solar Sales Team Lead will manage a small team of Solar Sales Representatives by conducting training, overseeing goals, and tracking performance.
The Solar Sales Team Lead will also go door-to-door to educate customers on community solar farms with the goal to sell renewable energy credits within a designated utility territory to residents and/or commercial businesses.
Gather information to accurately identify the customer's solar needs and recommend a program based on their needs.
Persuade customers to enroll in our free program, which in return will lower the customer's monthly utility bill and better the environment.
Enroll customer's in our program by guiding them through brief paperwork.
Occasionally attend company leadership meetings for collaboration on current processes and new initiatives.
Qualifications:
At least one year of experience managing a SALES team - which includes training, performance tracking and goal setting.
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license.
Ability to travel and work full-time hours.
This position requires standing for long periods of time.
Basic knowledge of sales and Microsoft Office software.
