Program Facilitator | Inpatient Behavioral Health

Job DescriptionPart-time, 48 hours every two weeks.
Weekday shifts to include 7 a.

Will be scheduled every sixth weekend from 7 a.

Includes a 6-week rotating schedule.
SUMMARY Responsible for increasing patient awareness and abilities in the area of living skills and recreation activities by providing education and information on an individual or group basis.
As a member of the interdisciplinary team is responsible for planning and implementing a variety of therapeutic programming (education and/or activities) to patients ranging in age from 5 years to adult with mental health and/or chemical dependency issues.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE Bachelor's Degree in a human services field or Associate Degree of Arts from an accredited occupational therapy assistant curriculum, successful completion of clinical field work, plus National Certification through NBCOT as a COTA and through the State of MN as a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant or Minimum of five years of related experience assisting in running groups, program and material design required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Entry level skills and knowledge in the provision of therapeutic education and activities.
Ability to teach a variety of education and creative activities.
Knowledge of medical and psychiatric diagnosis and the associated symptoms.
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) initial and on-going Training required and provided.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
